My name is Erika Rodriguez! For the past decade I have been working with dogs of all
shapes and sizes with various behavior challenges from all sorts of differing
backgrounds. My biggest passion is helping other dog lovers learn healthy and
effective communication with animals.
Working in an animal shelter for nearly 10 years I’ve seen firsthand the negative
effects of unhealthy training techniques and lack of low-cost training resources for pet
owners. This is ultimately what motivated me to start my business, Nerdy Dog
Training, LLC.
Along with a decade’s worth of working experience, I have had the privilege of
learning and mentoring under some of the best in the industry and have completed
Animal Behavior College’s dog training certification program. But the learning never
stops! I am always studying to stay on top of the latest research of what’s best for our
four-legged companions.
From basic obedience, behavior issues, to child and pet education, I’m here to help
you!
